Your First Visit: What to Expect

Your first visit is designed to help us understand your health history, current concerns, and goals so we can create a personalized plan that makes sense for you. During this visit, you can expect:

A relaxed conversation about your health history, lifestyle, and goals
A CLA Insight Nervous System Adaptability Test (heart rate variability, surface EMG, and spinal thermography)
Posture and movement analysis, including range of motion, flexibility, and bilateral weight‑scale testing
Your first gentle chiropractic adjustment, guided by muscle testing using Applied Kinesiology
Time to ask questions and talk through what you are experiencing

Please allow 45-60 minutes for this appointment. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring any health‑related questions you would like to discuss with the doctor.

Advanced CLA Insight Nervous System Scans

At The View Chiropractic, we utilize a nervous system adaptability test for all new patients to help us get the best look at what’s really going on in your body. Your test will include:

Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Shows how well your body adapts to stress.
Surface EMG: Measures muscle activity along the spine and helps us see areas of tension or fatigue.
Spinal Thermography: Looks at temperature patterns along the spine that may indicate nerve irritation.

Together, these scans create an overall “Core Score” that gives a clear picture of how your nervous system is functioning. We use this score to guide your care and repeat the scans at progress checks to track changes over time.

Your Second Visit: Review and Care Plan

When you return for your second visit, Dr. John will go over all of your findings in detail so you understand what is going on and what to do next.

You will review the results of your CLA Insight Nervous System Scan and any X‑rays taken, if needed. Dr. John will explain what these findings mean for your health, outline a recommended course of care, and answer any questions. You will receive a personalized plan that may include simple at‑home spinal exercises, supplements, or homeopathics based on your muscle testing results.

Before each adjustment visit, Szabina will show you the specific in‑office warm‑up exercises to do so you get the most benefit from your care. You will always know what you are working on and why.

Financial Matters and New Patient Special

We believe high‑quality, thorough chiropractic care should be easy to start and easy to understand. Your first appointment is normally $135; however, the current new patient special is $59, which is paid at your initial visit.

If you would like to use insurance, please bring your card with you on your first visit. We will verify your chiropractic benefits and review your coverage with you at your second visit.

We accept all major credit cards and health savings accounts and offer flexible payment options to help make your recommended care plan fit your budget.
